Fishing guide

Captain Mike Holliday has been a USCG Licensed Master Captain since 1986, working the waters of the Indian River and Atman tic Ocean from Vero Beach to Jupiter. Based in Stuart, he specializes in fishing inshore, offshore and along the beaches for snook, tarpon, Cobia, sailfish, sea trout, bonito, kingfish, dolphin and permit on spin or fly. He’s been featured in over 50 television shows, regularly does seminars for the IGFA, Saltwater Sportsman and private clubs, and has led his clients to over 20 World Record gamefish catches.

The author of six books on fishing (Sportsman’s Best; Inshore Fishing, Sportsman’s Best Sight Fishing, Secrets For Catching Seatrout and three books in the Fishing Kids series), Holliday began his writing career with The Miami Herald and has done stints as the Outdoor Writer/Editor for The Palm Beach Post, The Fort Pierce Tribune and The Stuart News. He’s also been an Editor at Florida SportsmanMagazine and the Editor of Florida Fishing Weekly. He has had features and photos published in all the major national and regional outdoor publications - including ESPN and The New York Times.

With photo credits in all the major national saltwater and fly fishing publications, as well as credits with ESPN and a host of national news outlets, Captain Mike Holliday has been shooting images of the outdoors and fishing for over 35 years. He won a host of photography awards from the Florida Outdoor Writers Association and Florida Press Club and regularly shoots images to this day.

We respect all fish, and take the utmost care to revive and release our catches in good shape. Captain Mike Holliday is an ardent conservationist, supporting Captains For Clean Water, Bonefish and Tarpon Trust, The International Game Fish Association, Coastal Conservation Association Florida and Trout Unlimited. He’s active in the fight to protect our waterways and our fish populations for future generations to experience.
