SNOOK

Considered one of the most aggressive inshore saltwater gamefish species on the planet, snook will chase everything from topwater plugs to flies and live bait.

BEST SEASON: Year round, big fish from April through November.

TARPON

One of the most sought after saltwater gamefish, tarpon can be found in our inshore waters as well as along the beaches. We target tarpon with flies, lures and live bait.

BEST SEASON: June-November, Beach migration is June-early July.

SAILFISH

Sailfish are one of our premier offshore targets, especially in the summer months when the ocean is calm and the fish are in small schools.

MAHI MAHI

An aggressive and great fighting offshore gamefish, Mahi Mahi are common catches along the weediness, rips and edges during the summer months. We target them with live bait, lures and fly.

POMPANO

Pompano are a migratory species that often schools along the beaches and inshore flats. We target them with bait, lures and fly, and even offer sight fishing trips in shallow water.

BONITA

One of the hardest fighting fish for its size, we target Little Tunny during the summer months when they are schooled up offshore and on the wrecks. We primarily target these fish on fly, but also will use spinning gear.

KINGFISH

Fast, aggressive with leaping bites, we primarily target king mackerel around the baitfish schools and wrecks close to shore. We chase these fish with live bait, lures and fly tackle.

SEA TROUT

Some of the largest sea trout in the world are caught in Treasure Coast waters, including the current all-tackle world record. We target trophy sea trout with bait, lures and fly gear.

PERMIT

We have amazing permit fishing on our reefs, wrecks and beaches, with the average fish ranging from 20-25 pounds. We can target them with fly and when they’re being picky - a live crab is hard to resist.

COBIA

While you can encounter Cobia year-round, we see two main Cobia runs along our beaches and reefs. We target them with live bait, lures and fly tackle.

JACK CREVALLE

We’re fortunate to have large schools of jumbo (15-40lb) jack crevalle off our beaches. They’re a blast to catch whether you’re throwing live bait, topwater plugs or fly.

SHARKS

Several species of sharks inhabit the area, including great hammerhead, lemon, bull, blacktop and spinner sharks. We target spinner sharks with bait or fly.
